60 BC, author of a lost Θρίαμβος Παρθικός (Thríambos Parthikós), in 3 books, probably on the
victory over the Parthians in 38 BC. He is generally identified with the author (cf. Suda s.
v. Πολύαινος Σαρδιανός) to whom a sophisticated epigram in the style of Leonidas of Tarentum
