Brill's New Pauly: "Diomitus, of Adramyttium, poet of epigrams, Meleager
mentions an epigrammatic poet D. (Anth. Pal. 4,1,27)
a total of eleven epigrams are
attributed to a D. in the Anthologia Palatina and the Anthologia Planudea. Both the
attribution of individual epigrams and the identity of D. are disputed. He is presumably
identical with the grammarian and epic poet from Adramyttium, derided by Aratus (Anth. Pal.
